The Peace Agreement Treaty

In modern history, certain intractable conflict situations may be brought to a ceasefire before being dealt with through a peace process in which a series of discrete measures are taken on both sides to achieve the ultimate goal of peace and treaty signature desired by both sides. Joe Biden, Trump`s opponent in the 2020 U.S. presidential election, welcomed the agreement because it „builds on the efforts of several governments to promote broader Arab-Israeli openness, including the Obama Biden administration`s efforts to build on the Arab peace initiative.” [42] All peace agreements have signatories or parties who agree to sign or respect the document, including the parties to the conflict. The signing of a treaty can take many forms and often a full ratification process is under way, which transposes the treaty as law. In the case of the United States, the U.S. Constitution establishes a strict ratification process for treaties. Only the President of the United States can sign contracts, but the U.S. Senate must also agree to ratify the treaty before the United States can be declared contracting parties. As a result, the United States is a signatory to many treaties that have not yet been ratified. Just as a peace treaty can have several signatories, a complex conflict can have several peace agreements within the framework of a resolution. After World War II, for example, the United States not only participated in partisan agreements with other nations, but signed no less than three separate peace agreements, including the Paris Peace Accords, which involved peace with Italy, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and Finland in 1947; the Treaty of San Francisco that ended the war with Japan in 1952; and the Treaty on the Final Regime with respect for Germany in 1990.

Convinced that the development of friendly relations is in line with the interests of lasting peace in the Middle East and that challenges can only be effectively resolved through cooperation and not through conflict; The Greek Foreign Ministry congratulated the two nations and called it a victory for diplomacy in the hope that it had brought peace to the region. [113] Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Zelensky made a phone call to Netanyahu. [114] Other nations, such as Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Romania and Kosovo, also welcomed the agreement. [115] [116] [117] The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry spoke of an „extraordinary diplomatic breakthrough” that could change the future of the Middle East in the hope that it would bring peace and improve the lives of the people of the Middle East, and congratulated both countries. [118] Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz discussed the agreement with UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan by telephone and congratulated him and said cooperation was needed to resolve the Middle East`s problems.
